How do you turn a newcomer into a trusted favorite? For Elephant Pretzels, the key was in the power of small, everyday moments: from a spontaneous snack break to a cozy get-together. By combining digital campaigns with strong influencer activations, we’ve been running impactful campaigns for several years, bringing the brand step by step closer to the hearts of snack lovers across the Benelux.

The Challenge

The challenge was clear: position Elephant Pretzels as the go-to snack brand in the Benelux. This meant not only creating large-scale awareness, but also bridging the gap to consideration and ultimately conversion. The goal: inspire and activate snack lovers aged 25–44. 

Our Approach: Cross-media and funnel-driven.

We combined digital boosting campaigns with a strong influencer strategy, tailored to the TikTok community as well as the slightly more mature Instagram audience. 

 

  1. Digital ads (Meta + TikTok): optimized with boosting and A/B testing, using a mix of product visuals and UGC content.

  2. UGC content: created specifically for boosting, delivering authentic snackable moments.

  3. Influencer marketing: a balanced mix of food, family, and lifestyle creators ensured both variety and credibility. 

  4. Always-on & key moments: seasonal activations around BBQs, back-to-school, and the holiday season. 

The Impact

With more than 17 million cross-channel impressions from digital ads, we exceeded the benchmark by a wide margin. CPMs significantly outperformed industry standards! 

The influencer campaigns added another 4.5 million+ impressions with highly positive sentiment. 

Elephant Pretzels is now not only visible, but truly top-of-mind among snack lovers in the Benelux
